Green, lush green with scattered white dots – occasionally brown – grazing on the steep meadows. Showing no fear of falling down all the way into the dark ocean. One can immediately see why this group of islands is called “sheep islands”.

Nature seems to be angry or sad – or both – showing its furious face for days. Low hanging clouds, lingering around the peaks of the mountains so they can easily disappear. Rain, lots of constant rain. And strong wind, churning the clear greenish blue waters of the sea. You feel small and lost in a boat, at the mercy of the waves.

Still, nature’s passion has also its good sides. The rain creates numerous little waterfalls that are running towards the sea. Colourful rainbows appear when the sun’s rays finally break through the low clouds, creating a beautiful light.
The heavy wind is messing up your hair, but calms your heart and mind…

And the sudden and unpredictable change of nature’s face, when showing its gentle side even just for a few minutes, lets you forget your wet clothes and cold feet.
